Awesome IncrEDIBLE Picnic @ Alderney Landing!

WOW! The IncrEDIBLE Picnic was held at Alderney Landing this Sunday, and it did not disappoint!

Great music, a beautiful sunny day, a wonderful harbour breeze, and enough food vendors to keep all visitors happy! It was a very successful day for us, and we just want to say thanks to everyone who came out and supported the Picnic, the Alderney Farmer's Market, and Hardy Wares.

We are so pleased that we have built a strong following of regular customers, and we are really excited when we meet new ones at each market we attend. And this event was a great way to connect with everyone - we even met some new vendors ourselves!

The 2010 IncrEDIBLE Picnic @ Alderney Landing
Select Nova Scotia provides a list of all IncrEDIBLE Picnic locations in Nova Scotia this summer.

We hope you had a chance to visit the Picnic this weekend, but if not, you can still see most of these vendors regularly at the Alderney Landing Farmer's Market every Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. So come on out and say "Hi!". We'd love to meet you!

Green Tomato Chow Returns!

Being in Nova Scotia, the produce growing season waxes and wanes with the seasons of the year. Throughout the winter, some produce is just so very difficult to find. One of those items is Green Tomatoes.

Copious amounts of these are required to make Green Tomato Chow in the quantity we need to meet demand. It is typically only an amount we can find in the spring and summer months. And now, with Spring upon us, the crops of Green Tomato have begun to make their way to market, and thus so has our very popular Green Tomato Chow.

So make some room on the Sunday Dinner plate, come on out to the markets, and pick up your Chow. Why not stock up on some, since as we all know, it only lasts so long.

Green Tomato Chow - a limited quantity for a limited time!
